Praise for FOX NEWS Network, not so much for Rev. Jesse Jackson

First the praise- good choice attempting to withhold the full comments by Jesse Jackson during his open mic rant. Still don't know why, but trying to protect his reputation and the true cause of his efforts are admirable.

Jesse Jackson is no longer able to call himself a 'Civil Rights Leader' He has debased his viability, and become impotent to the public at large. Harsh? Of course it is! He knows that as a purported leader he is held to a higher standard. As such his use of racially charged language to describe the people he claims to support is unforgivable. Not by me, and not by God....but by his own message. He can no longer lead a fight against injustice....someone will forever bring this up....and they wont be wrong. He needs to step down immediately to preserve the organizations he founded, if not he is destined to drag them down and make them equally insignificant as he is now.

Rev Jackson RESIGN NOW!
What a difference a few hours makes

Jesse Jackson has been hiding behind his "so called intent" for years now. Let's remember that this is not the first time that he has slammed Barack Obama publicly. We all know that Jesse Jackson has had loose lips in the past, and has offended many people across both racial (including his own) and religious lines. Now, as for his recent (again I use the term "so called") slip of the tongue. It might not be what it seems. I personally believe that having been in the media and having been interviewed in television studios countless times in his life and career, Jesse Jackson not only knew that the microphone was wired, he also knew it was on. He used this opportunity to get an intentional message across in an "accidental" way. A man with his experience can not plead ignorance as to why he said what was truly on his mind and then issue an apology and expect exoneration or acceptance from the many people he has obviously offended. It raises the question, "Has Jesse Jackson learned anything from his past mistakes with the media?" He sure has. He's learned to play the media like the fiddle they are.

Jesse Jackson's civil rights efforts of the past have had an absolute positive effect on the way I and many others are living our lives today. If he does not step down now, his name, those past efforts, and the efforts of countless others who continue to support civil rights issues today will become suspect or even more humiliating, the punch line for some sick racial joke.
